Petitioner appeared in person and submitted that he filed an application for water connection at his resident at Vivekananda colony, Teylorabad village. He has filed an application addressed to the Executive Engineer, PHED, APWD, Port Blair.

Mr. Dibesh Dwivedi, learned advocate has appeared on behalf of respondent/Executive Engineer.

Having heard both the learned counsels and also having gone through the petitioner, I find that this writ petition with a substantive prayer seeking necessary direction upon the appropriate authority to provide water supply connection to the petitioner house stand on survey No. 38/1/15 at Vivekananda Colony, Teylorabad village, I find it justified to direct the authority concerned to consider the prayer of the petitioner. 4.

In the premises set for the above respondent/Executive Engineer, PHED is directed to dispose of the application for Water supply connection in the house of the petitioner mentioned above within two weeks from date.

With the aforesaid direction the writ petition is disposed of. 6.
