[ CIRCUIT BENCH AT PORT BLAIR ] ...

WPA/233/2022 G. Nedunchezian ... Petitioner Vs.

The Andaman and Nicobar Administration and others

...Respondents

Mr. Gopala Binnu Kumar ... for the petitioner Mr. Shatadru Chakraborty ... for the respondents July 19, 2022 [SR] Item No.4 Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner's innocuous prayer is that the representation of the petitioner, forwarded in the form of request on June 17, 2022 with the prayer for release/grant the pensionary benefits has not yet been decided by the respondent authorities. Upon hearing learned counsel for the parties, it transpires that the representation has been annexed at pages 16-19 of the writ petition.

Accordingly, WPA/233/2022 is disposed of by directing the respondent nos.2 and 3 to decide and dispose of the representation of the writ petitioner as annexed to the present petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks from date and to intimate the outcome thereof to the petitioner as early thereafter as possible. It is made clear, however, that the merits of the reliefs sought in the

representation by the petitioner has not been gone into by this Court.

Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the respective parties upon compliance of usual formalities. ( Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J. )
