Governor and Others Mr. Mit Guha Roy .... for the petitioners [through virtual mode] Ms. Babita Das ... for the respondents June 16, 2025 [SR] Item No.4 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits as follow. The petitioner had prayed for demarcation of the land. During the pendency of the writ petition, the respondent authorities purportedly did a demarcation, but the same was not done properly and the petitioner is aggrieved with the same.

Learned counsel appearing for the Administration denies the allegations, relies on the report filed earlier and submits as follows. Demarcation of the land was done in the presence of the present petitioner and he did not raise any objection to the same. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved with the demarcation, it would be a new cause of action and he has to raise the issue before the appropriate authority. It appears that the writ petition was filed praying for a direction to conclude the process of demarcation of land and the same has been done.

If the petitioner is aggrieved with the said demarcation, he shall be at liberty to take up the issue before the appropriate

authority. Therefore, no further order is needed to be passed in this matter.

Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of without an further order, even as to costs.

Urgent certified copy of this order be supplied to the learned counsels for the parties upon compliance of usual formalities.
