The Andaman and Nicobar Administration and Others Mr. Prakash Minj .... for the petitioner Ms. Babita Das ... for the respondents July 2, 2024 [SR] Item No.13 Petitioner submits that he was allotted a plot of paddy land. But since 1977, the revenue authorities have not collected revenue. He had made representation in 1997 to the authorities concerned but no steps were taken.

Learned counsel for the respondent authorities draw the attention of this Court to Annexure P-6 of the writ petition wherein it is recorded that the allotment of land has since been cancelled. Nothing is placed on record to show that the cancellation order has been set aside.

Under such circumstances, there is no question of petitioner paying revenue with regard to the land concerned. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed.

No order as to costs.
