The prayer of the petitioner is innocuous.

The petitioner has annexed documents to the writ petition to indicate that the petitioner is the owner of the subject plot, in respect of which the petitioner made a representation to the Tehsildar, Hut Bay, Little Andaman, seeking relevant record entry and sketch map in respect of the subject land. 3.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there was an error in mentioning the survey number of the plot of land in the representation since, instead of "204/7A", "204/12" was mentioned.

Learned counsel for the respondent-authority submits that in view of the said error in the representation, the said documents could not be handed over.

Be that as it may, since both the parties are appearing before the Court, the respondent authorities are directed to treat the present writ petition as the representation of the writ petitioner and furnish the survey entry and the sketch map as

per the requirement of the petitioner at the earliest, preferably within four weeks from date.

Accordingly, WPA/175/2026 is disposed of in the light of the above observations.

There will be no order as to costs.

Parties shall act on the server copy of this order without insisting upon prior production of a certified copy. ( Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J. )
