The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition making an innocuous prayer for disposal of appeal in question filed before the respondent No.1.

It appears from record that the appeal-in-question has been filed on 13th July, 2021 and more than one and half years have been passed. It seems that the petitioner's prayer for expeditious disposal of the appeal-in-question is very reasonable. Without going into the merit of the appeal itself, this Writ Petition being WPA No. 339 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent No.1 to dispose of the appeal-in-question in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his authorized representative within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
