The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner's application for fresh electricity connection has been kept pending for long.

Upon hearing learned counsel for the parties, WPA/185/2026 is disposed of by directing respondent no.2, Assistant Engineer, Electricity Department, Ferrargunj, to dispose of the said application of the petitioner for electricity connection within a fortnight from date and communicate the outcome to the petitioner within a week thereafter. 3.

In the event the petitioner is found otherwise eligible in law to get such connection, respondent no.2 shall ensure that such connection is given to the petitioner within a fortnight from compliance of all formalities in that regard by the petitioner.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this judgment, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
