Agarwal, Advocate ... for the respondents December 20, 2021 [SR] Sl.No.8 This is an application seeking a direction upon the respondent no.2 for having demarcation of the landed property of the writ petitioner done within a stipulated time.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner's father purchased the property in question. After his demise, the property was mutated in the petitioner's name. The petitioner had applied for demarcation of the landed property before the concerned authorities on 6th August, 2021. Thereafter, a reminder was also given. Despite this, the respondent no.2 has failed to have the necessary demarcation done.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that the respondent no.2 shall try his best to complete the process of demarcation at the earliest. However, there is one difficulty that the relevant map might have to be corrected as there is some discrepancy between the map and the actual piece of land. I have heard the submissions of the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties and have perused the writ application. It appears that the representation for demarcation of land was given by the petitioner as far back in August, 2021 and thereafter, a reminder was also given.
Therefore, it will be in the interest of justice, if the respondent no.2 concludes the process of demarcation at the earliest.
In view of the above, I request the respondent no.2 to have the land of the writ petitioner demarcated in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.
With these observations, the writ petition being WPA/304/2021 is disposed of.
