Mrs. Anjili Nag ...for the petitioner Mr. Shatadru Chakraborty Mr. Ramendu Agarwal ... for the respondents June 28, 2022 [SR] Item No.8 The petitioner assails the order dated 8th December, 2021 passed by the Tehsildar, Port Blair whereby the petitioner has been directed to vacate the land bearing Survey No.1295 recorded as Govt. Nallah situated at Phoenix Bay village on or before 18th December, 2021. It is an admitted position that subsequent to the passing of the impugned order, fresh steps have been taken by the respondent authorities in respect of the subject premises including a fresh demarcation post- 8th December, 2021 (the impugned order) which has been carried out by the respondent authorities. Hence, there is no question of the respondents acting in pursuance or in furtherance or on implementing the impugned order.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives in this writ petition.

WPA/305/2021 along with all connected

applications stand disposed of. It is made clear that in view of the subsequent events, this Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the disputes between the parties. Liberty is granted to the parties to take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
