Zinu ... for the petitioner Ms. Babita Das ... for the respondent June 18, 2025 [AKB] Item No.9 This writ petition is filed seeking for direction upon respondent authority to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 06.02.2023 for making necessary changes in the revenue records as per commissioner's report filed before the Civil court in partition suit.
The petitioner contends that a partition suit being Title Suit No. 91 of 2013 was filed by her before the Civil Judge (Senior Division) at Port Blair wherein a final decree was drawn up on 23.01.2023. Subsequent thereto the petitioner submitted an application on 06.02.2023 before the respondent authority for correction in the revenue records in terms of the final decree. However, such representation has not been disposed of as yet. Hence this writ petition.
Ms. A.S.Zinu, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that appropriate direction be issued upon the respondent authority for disposing of the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2023 within a time frame.
Ms. Babita Das, learned advocate appearing for the respondent authority also submits that such direction may be issued for disposal of the representation of the petitioner. In view of the submission as advanced on behalf of the learned advocates representing the respective parties, the respondent, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District, Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil is directed to consider and dispose of representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2023 within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order in accordance with law.
Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the respondent, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District, Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil for necessary compliance.
With the aforesaid direction the instant writ petition being WPA/253/2025 is disposed of.
Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
All connected application, if any, stand disposed of. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order if applied for be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
