Respondent Mr. Anjili Nag ... for the petitioner Mr. Salim Mohammed ... for the respondent March 17, 2022 [GNC] Item No.7 This is an application under Article of the Constitution of India wherein the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in granting mutation to the impugned premises wherein decree has been passed by the learned Joint Civil Judge (Senior Division), Port Blair.

Fair submission has been made by counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent that the authority concerned is required to act in accordance with law.

In light of the same, the Tehsildar is directed to mutate the land as per the decree passed by the trial Court within a period of six weeks from date in accordance with law. In view of the direction given above, this writ petition is disposed of.
