The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition being aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent No.2/ Tehsildar, Port Blair Tehsil, South Andaman in considering the petitioner's application for mutation of land-in-question in her name which was filed on 9th November, 2022 being Annexure P-3 to the Writ Petition and prays for direction upon the respondent authority concerned to consider and dispose of the said application expeditiously. Mr. K.M.B. Jayapal, learned Advocate submits that, though his clients namely, Shri S. Suparnam and Shri S.

Sudeshnam have not been impleaded in this Writ Petition but they are very much necessary and effective party and their rights will be seriously affected on the decision to be taken on the aforesaid application of the Writ Petitioner.

No. 372 of 2023 is disposed of by directing the respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the aforesaid application of the petitioner dated 9th November, 2022 in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and other interested parties including the aforesaid clients of Mr. Jayapal within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With this observation and direction, this Writ Petition being WPA No. 372 of 2023 stands disposed of. (Md. Nizamuddin, J.)
