Kumar ...for the Respondents (On behalf of Mr. Rakesh Kumar) June 14, 2024 (M.A.Mobin) Item No.2 The grievance ventilated in the present application is that the water connection has not been provided to the petitioner in spite of several representations. It is submitted that the petitioner has encroached a piece of Government revenue land bearing Survey No.558/15/P, measuring an area of 50 Sq. Mtrs. prior to 1978 and has constructed a dwelling house where she along with her family is residing. The petitioner had made approach before the authority for providing water tap in the said house but the authority did not pay heed to such request.

Mr. Arun S. Kumar, learned Advocate, on behalf of Mr. Rakesh Kumar representing PBMC submits that they will take necessary steps to provide water connection to the petitioner at the earliest.

In such view of the matter the Writ Petition being WPA 259 of 2024 is hereby disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to address the grievance ventilated in the petitioner's representation dated 06.6.2024 in accordance with law at the earliest but not later than six weeks from the date of communication of the order.
