Mr. Dibesh Dwivedi ... for the respondents June 18, 2025 [SR] Item No.10 Learned Senior Counsel representing the petitioner submits that challenging an order passed by the Sub Divisional Officer, a revenue appeal was preferred by the petitioners before the Deputy Commissioner, Mayabunder, being Revenue Appeal dated 15.04.2025 arising out of Revenue Case No.

RC/127/SDO/DP/2016/20. But, the same has not been heard out yet. After the writ petition was filed praying for expeditious disposal of the appeal, a notice has been served on the petitioners, fixing the date for hearing on 16.06.2025. However, on the next date fixed i.e. 25.06.2025 the petitioner will not be in town and might have to pray for an adjournment. Learned Senior Counsel representing the Administration submits that the appeal is to be heard by the concerned authority and a notice has been issued fixing the next for hearing as 25.06.2025.

In view of the above, the respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal in question in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

As the writ petition is being disposed of without calling for affidavits, the allegations leveled against the respondents shall be deemed to have been denied.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be supplied to the learned counsels for the parties upon compliance of usual formalities.
