Mini .... for the petitioner Ms. Babita Das ... for the respondents June 23, 2025 [SR] Item No.3 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner by way of a representation dated 1st August, 2022 prayed for sub-division of the land bearing survey No.1521 meausring area of 0.0737 hectares situated at Haddo Village under Sri Vijaya Puram Tehsil, South Andaman District. All the existing tenants were agreeable to the sub-division. In fact, the petitioner replied to the queries of the authorities made on 30th August, 2022. In spite of this, the representation has not been considered by the authorities as yet.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent authorities denies the allegation and submits as follows. There were some doubts and queries were raised by the respondent authorities in this regard in 2022. However, the same were responded to by the petitioner. The process is on for disposing of the representation.

In view of the above and interest of justice, let the petitioner's representation dated 1st August, 2022 be considered

and the RC No.155/GIS/2022/DC(SA)/664 be disposed of by the respondent no.2 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order after hearing the necessary parties.

It is clarified that merits of the case have not been gone into by this Court.

As the writ petition is being disposed of without calling for affidavits, the allegations leveled against the respondents shall be deemed to have been denied.

With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be supplied to the learned counsels for the parties upon compliance of usual formalities.
