The innocuous prayer in the writ petition is forearly disposal of a representation submitted by the petitioners to the respondent/Tehsildar on March 16, 2026 for review of the mutation order of land bearing Survey No.24/P/A, measuring about 500 Sq.mts.

Upon hearing learned counsel for the parties, WPA/256/2026 is disposed of by directing the Tehsildar, Sri Vijaya Puram, South Andaman District (respondent herein) to consider and dispose of the representation dated March 16, 2026 submitted by the petitioners in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order in writing, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two months from the date of communication of this order to the respondent. 3.

Upon such disposal, the respondent shall communicate such reasoned order at the earliest to all interested parties. 4.

It is further clarified that prior to such disposal, the respondent shall give adequate opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties.

The respondent shall act on the communication of the learned Advocates for the parties, coupled with a server copy of this order, without insisting upon prior production of the certified copy thereof.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of thisorder, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
