Governor and Others Mr. Ananda Halder ... for the petitioner Mr. V.D.Sivabalan ... for the respondent nos.1 to 3 July 08, 2025 [Manoj] Item No. 8 It is the grievance of the petitioner that although he made a representation before the Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman District, Mayabunder, on February 17, 2022, no steps have been taken by the said authority to consider the same.

It appears that the petitioner claims to be the owner of Survey No. 91/1 at Sitapur Village under Rangat Tehsil. He has submitted the representation seeking to exercise certain easementary rights in respect of the aforesaid land. There is no justification in keeping the writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman District, Mayabunder, to consider the petitioner's representation dated February 17, 2022, strictly in accordance with law and after affording the petitioner an opportunity of hearing.

Since the Administration has not filed any affidavit in the matter, the allegations made in the writ petition shall be deemed to have been denied by it.

Accordingly, WPA/302/2025 is disposed of.
