The Tehsildar Ms. Anjili Nag .... for the petitioner Ms. Babita Das ... for the respondent July 05, 2024 [SR] Item No.1 Petitioner is aggrieved by the alleged unlawful activities of the respondent authorities who, according to the petitioner, had illegally demolished the structure.

Learned lawyer for the respondents contends the petitioner had unauthorisedly encroached on another land and the demolition process had to be undertaken.

Ms. Nag contends her client had approached the respondent authorities to demarcate the land belonging to her. But such prayer had gone unheeded.

Ms. Babita Das submits the respondent authorities shall take appropriate steps in the matter.

In view of the nature of controversy, I consider it prudent to dispose of the writ petition directing the Tehsildar to consider the representation of the petitioner, undertake survey and inspection of the land bearing Survey No.627 situated at Prothrapur Village, Port Blair, South Andaman and demarcate the said land within three months from the date of communication of this order. Since affidavits have not been called for, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted. With the above direction, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
