Kumar ... for the respondents July 08, 2025 [AKB] Item No.15 The petitioner has filed the present application praying for direction upon the respondents particularly respondent No.2 for demarcation of the land bearing Survey No. 1/P measuring an area of 0.50 hectares, situated at Habdipur village, under Ferrargunj Tehsil, South Andaman District.

Mrs. Yasmeen Begum, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner being the recorded tenant of the aforesaid landed property has applied for demarcation for the said land on 30.05.2019, but till date the Tehsildar has not conducted any demarcation. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that, if a direction is issued, the Tehsildar will take appropriate steps for demarcation of land.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels for the respective parties, the Tehsildar being the

respondent No.2 is directed to conduct the demarcation as per the request made by the petitioner vide letter dated 30.05.2019 after issuance of notice to all the side plot holders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order and after completing the demarcation, report be supplied to the petitioner within a week thereafter. This Court has disposed of the writ petition without calling for the affidavits, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to be not admitted.

WPA/308/2025 is disposed of.
