Sivabalan ... for the respondents September 20, 2022 [MAM] Item No.41 The petitioner applied for permission to divert the relevant land for alternative use. Such prayer was made in a statutory form which is appeared at Page 16 of the Writ Petition. Mr. Jayapal, learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that despite filing the said application in the month of August 20, 2022 till date the same has not been considered by the relevant authority.
The learned Advocate representing the respondents denies the allegation made in the Writ Petition. I am of the view application of the petitioner at page 16 of this petition should be disposed of in a time bound manner. Accordingly, the Sub-Divisional Officer, South Andaman Sub-Division is directed to consider the application of the petitioner as appearing at Page 16 (Annexure P-2) within a period of two months from the date of communication of
this order in accordance with law. The decision of the authority should be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter. Accordingly, WPA/386/2022 is disposed of.
