CR/20/2025 was filed before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate at Mayabunder. During pendency of the application, the respondent-husband filed a petition challenging the maintainability of the application. That application was heard and fixed for order on 3rd March, 2026. On that date, the petition filed on maintainability point was withdrawn by the respondent-husband.

Subsequently, a fresh application was filed since the earlier application contained technical defects. 3.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner-wife submitted that the matter may be heard and disposed of expeditiously without any delay.

Learned Counsel for the husband-respondent submitted that he does not want to make any inroad to such prayer but ground realties must be kept in mind.

The instant CRR/31/2026 is disposed of by directing the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mayabunder to expedite the

hearing and dispose of CR/20/2025 without undue delay preferably within a period of thirty days from the date of receipt of this order.

Liberty is given to the parties to be present virtually. Accordingly, CRR/31/2026 stands disposed of.
