The petitioners have filed an application under Section 20

(3) of the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956 sometime in 2023 along with an interim application filed under Section 20

(6) at the same time.

The petitions have not yet been disposed of, and are pending adjudication for well over three years now. The learned Family Judge, Sri Vijaya Puram is directed to dispose of the Misc. Judicial Case No. 18 of 2023 by August 20, 2026, without granting any adjournments to any of the appearing parties.

With the aforestated direction the Civil Revisional application is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis on compliance of all legal formalities.
