The writ petitioner was Daily Rated Sanitary Mazdoor. Her husband met with an accident and under gone treatment in the mainland for long period. The petitioner also had an accident for which she had to undergo treatment. Subsequently, the petitioner came to know of his termination. She made representations for reconsideration of termination in terms of her letter dated 01.03.2023; a reminder letter was sent on 10.10.2023. Neither any decision was taken nor representations were disposed of. Learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the petitioner was a Daily Rated Mazdoor whose service was terminated because of long absence.

The instant writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the municipal authorities to consider and dispose of the representation of the writ petitioner within one month. The instant writ petition along within pending application if any stands disposed of.
