Mishra ... for the respondents June 19, 2026 [AKB] Item No.14 The petitioner's application for obtaining a fresh electricity connection has been rejected on the ground of discrepant address in the Aadhaar Card and other documents. Mr. Pradeep appearing for the petitioner submits that this discrepancy is circumstantial as the petitioner was previously residing in a rented accommodation and has presently moved to his own accommodation on encroached land.
The petitioner is granted liberty to file a fresh application with the requisite documents.
The authorities will dispose of such application within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the application from the petitioner in the online mode in accordance with law. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis on compliance of all legal formalities.
