Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an AMC contractor and was allotted the work of repair and maintenance of street lights by a work order issued on 5th September, 2022 by the Pradhan, Gram Panchayat, Hari Nagar, A & N Islands.

According to the petitioner, he completed the work and submitted the bill in 2023. The payment is yet to be made. The petitioner seeks to submit a comprehensive representation before the respondent annexing copies of relevant documents and prays for a direction upon the respondent to consider the representation at the earliest. In view of the above, liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit a comprehensive representation before the respondent annexing copies of the documents within seven days from date. The respondent shall deal with the representation and dispose of the same within one month from the date of receipt thereof.

The respondent is further directed to clear the dues of the petitioner within the said date, upon verification of the

documents submitted by the petitioner and satisfaction with regard to the completion of the work in terms of the work order. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit has been invited, the allegation made in the writ petition are deemed to be not admitted. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
