Arul Peter ... for the petitioner Mr. Rakesh Kumar ... for the respondents August 26, 2025 [AKB] Item No.5 The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition seeking direction to the respondent authority for releasing the amount of Rs. 2,27,884/- with interest for the work. It is the case of the petitioner that he was allotted AMC for street light repair and maintenance work vide Work Order No.

WO/SL/GPSN/GIA (Gen)/2022-23/01 dated 21.10.2022. It is the case of the petitioner that he had completed the said work. The counsel for the petitioner further submits that despite completion of the said work the payment had not been released even after completion of the said work. He states that he had given a legal notice dated 28.04.2025 but the same had not been responded too.

Learned counsel for the respondent states that they are ready and willing to treat the legal notice as a representation and decide the same.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he shall be satisfied if the same is decided that in the time bound manner.

In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the parties, this Court directs the respondent No. 1 to decide petitioner's legal notice which shall be treated as a representation dated 28.04.2025 within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order, strictly in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, by way of a speaking order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Since no affidavits have been called for, the allegation made in the writ petition are deemed to have been not admitted. (Gaurang Kanth, J.)
