Heard learned Advocates for the parties.

The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that the Respondents have not issued electric connection in spite of making an application for such connection on 23.4.2024 marked Annexure P-3 to the Writ Petition.

Learned Advocate for the Respondents submits that the Writ Petitioner may submit the application in hand after complying the requirements as provided in 5.30 Regulation of the notification dated 26th November, 2018 issued by Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Upon hearing the learned Advocates, this Writ Application is disposed of by granting liberty to the Writ Petitioner to make application before the Respondent no.3

for grant of electric connection after making necessary compliance of 5.30. In the event such application is made the Respondent no.3 shall consider the same and if the requirements are complied with shall issue the electric connection within four weeks from the date of such application. In the event such requirements are not complied the Respondent no.3 shall intimate the Writ Petitioner or his learned Advocate for necessary compliance, pointing out the defects.

Learned Advocate appearing for the Respondents is also requested to see that necessary steps are taken by the Respondent authorities.

This Writ application stands disposed of.
