Pradeep ... for the petitioner Mr. Tulsi Lall Mr. Rakesh Kumar ... for the respondents April 20, 2023 (Bithika) Item No.10 Mr.R.Pradeep, learned Counsel representing the petitioner is present and submits that the petitioner has earlier filed an application for grant of electric connection on 09.02.2023 but on 14.02.2023 the request of the petitioner was rejected on the ground that "Electric connection to encroachment land has been stopped. It is only be provided on the basis of issuing directions by Hon'ble Court in respective Judgment in your favour for providing electric connection." The reason for rejection is not sustainable under law, accordingly the order of rejection is set aside.

The respondent No.3 is directed to provide domestic electric connection in the premises of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the receipt of the copy of the order subject to compliance of all formalities.

It is made clear that the grant of electric connection will not create any equity over the said landed property.

The respondents have not filed affidavit-inopposition, the allegations made therein are deemed to have been denied.
