Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner has filed an application for grant of electric connection on 07.03.2023 but the authority has rejected the application on the same date i.e on 07.03.2023.

This Court finds that, the ground on which the application filed by the petitioner is rejected is not sustainable under law. Accordingly, the same is set aside.

The respondent No.3 is directed to provide electric connection in the residential premises of the petitioner standing on survey No. 626/P measuring an area of 22 Sq. meters situated at Prem Nagar Village under Port Blair Tehsil within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order. It is made clear that providing electric connection will not create any title over the property.

WPA No.580 of 2023 is disposed of.
