Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection on 23.02.2023 and on the same date the respondents have rejected the application on the ground that required documents not submitted. Though the authority have rejected for no providing the required documents but the authority have not specified the documents which are required for grant of electric connection.

Accordingly, this Court finds that the rejection order passed by the authority lacks of reason. Accordingly, the same is set aside.

The respondent No. 3 is directed to provide electric connection to the petitioner in his residential house standing in survey No. 271/P measuring an area of 200 sq. meter situated at Manglutan village under Ferrargunj Tehsil, South Andaman District within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in compliance of all formalities.

WPA No. 585 of 2023 is disposed of.
