Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection before the authority on 07.03.2023 and by an order dated 25.03.2023, the authorities have rejected the application. The ground of rejection lacks of reason.

This Court finds that the rejection order passed by the authority is lacks of reason.

Accordingly, the order of rejection is set aside.

The respondent No. 3 is directed to provide electric connection to the petitioner in his residential premises standing in survey No. 1/P measuring an area of 200 sq. meter situated at Bindraban village under Ferrargunj Tehsil, South Andaman District within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in compliance of all formalities.

WPA No. 617 of 2023 is disposed of.
