The Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman is virtually present in Court today. There is affidavit dated June 16, 2023 filed by the alleged contemnors.

It appears from the affidavit that reversion and/or conversion of the land has been allowed on June 14, 2023 and permission for sale has also been issued on June 15, 2023. It appears that there has been compliance of the order, albeit with some delay.
An unconditional apology was tendered and the delay is regretted.

In the above circumstances, the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, is let off with a warning not to repeat such conduct in future. The show cause and the affidavit filed shall be entered into the service records of the alleged contemnor Veditha Reddy.
There shall be no further punishment on the alleged contemnor.

CPAN 20 of 2023 shall stand disposed of.
5.
The personal presence of the alleged contemnors is dispensed with. Rule shall stand discharged.
6.
There shall be no order as to costs.
7.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
