Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection before the authority on 13.03.2023 and on 24.03.2023, the authority has rejected the request of the petitioner.

The ground on which the application was rejection lacks of reason. Accordingly, the order of rejection is set aside.

The respondent No. 3 is directed to provide electric connection to the premises of the

petitioner standing on survey No. 1/P measuring an area of 200 sq. meter situated at Austinabad village under Port Blair Tehsil within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in compliance of all formalities.

WPA No. 619 of 2023 is disposed of.
