Petitioner has filed an application for grant of electric connection before the authority on 13.03.2023 and on 06.04.2023 the petitioner has filed the instant Writ application.

After going through the record, I find that the Writ application filed by the petitioner is premature.

Accordingly, the Writ application is dismissed. However, the dismissal of the Writ application will not debar the petitioner to apply afresh for grant of electric connection before the concerned authority.

There is an allegation that the respondent No.3 has returned the application filed by the petitioner, in view of the same, it is made clear that if any application is made by the petitioner to the respondent No.3, the respondent

No.3 shall consider the application of the petitioner for grant of electric connection in terms of the order passed by the Hon'ble Bench in the Case of Abhimanyu Mazumdar vs. Superintending Engineer reported at 2011(2) CHN (Cal) 768 within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

WPA No. 628 of 2023 is disposed of.
