The petitioner is in occupation of the Government revenue land bearing survey No.164/P measuring an area of 300 sq. meters situated at near PHC, Campbell Bay, Nicobar District.

Mr. Pardesia Munda, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that initially the respondents provided electric connection but due to nonpayment of electric connection, the electric connection provided to the premises of the

petitioner is disconnected. Now the petitioner has applied for new electric connection on 02.02.2021 and the said application is still pending.

In view of the submission made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the respondent No.2 is directed to consider the application of the petitioner either to provide a new electric connection or to restore the electric connection earlier provided in accordance with law within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. Though the authorities have not filed their affidavit, the allegation made therein deemed to have been denied and disputed.

WPA No. 636 of 2023 is disposed of.
