The Deputy Commissioner and Another Mr. Gopala Binnu Kumar Ms. Vinita Devi .... for the petitioner Mr. Arun S Kumar ... for the respondents [on behalf of Mr.V.D.Sivabalan] August 29, 2025 [SR] Item No.1 The land comprising Survey No.110 measuring about an area of 400 Sq.mtrs situated at Mithakhari Village, Ferrargunj Tehsil, South Andaman was the undivided property of the petitioner and his other co-sharers.

The sharers of the co-sharers of the said plot of land, by virtue of the final decree passed in Title Suit No. 77 of 2023 have been partitioned. The petitioner thereafter on February 27, 2025 has applied to the Tehsildar, Ferrargunj, the respondent No. 2 herein, for correction in the relevant records of the said plot of land in terms of the said final decree. The petitioner is complaining delay in disposal of his such application.

The rights of the parties to the said suit have been crystallized by virtue of the final decree passed in the said suit. Therefore, the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman district, the respondent No. 1 herein and the Tehsildar, Ferrargunj, the respondent No. 2 herein, are obliged to record

the name of the petitioner in the relevant records in respect of the said plot of land in terms of the aforementioned final decree of partition in accordance with law.

The said respondents are directed to dispose of the application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from date of communication of this order.

WPA/431/2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
