Mr. Adarsh Ilango .... for the petitioner Ms. Babita Das ... for the respondent September 03, 2025 [SR] Item No.7 The petitioner has an occupancy right in respect of the land measuring about 4.94 hectares comprised in plot no.131 at revenue village Deshbandhu Gram, Diglipur Tehsil, North and Middle Andaman District.

The application of the petitioner in the prescribed format dated August 06, 2025 seeking permission to divert the said land for alternative use is pending consideration before the Sub Divisional Officer, Diglipur Sub Division, the sole respondent herein. The said application forms part of the writ petition being Annexure P-4 at page 18.

The respondent is directed to dispose of the said application in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.

WPA/439/2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
