The grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner has occupied a Government revenue land bearing survey No. 165/59/P measuring an area of 500 sq. meters situated at Old Pahargaon, Dollygunj village under Port Blair Tehsil, South Andaman District. The petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection on 15.03.2023. The respondent authority has rejected the application 15.03.2023 on the ground that "upload Judgment order issued by Hon'ble Court in favour of you for providing electric connection in respective judgement along with all documents."

Considering the order of rejection, this Court finds that the ground of rejection is not sustainable under law. Accordingly, the same is set aside.

The respondent No.3, Assistant Engineer, Dollygunj area, Port Blair Tehsil, South Andaman District is directed to provide electric connection in the premises of the petitioner standing on survey No. 165/59/P measuring an area of 500 sq. meters situated at Old Pahargaon, Dollygunj village under Port Blair Tehsil within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order on compliance of all requisite formalities. WPA No. 651 of 2023 is disposed of.
