Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection before the concerned authority on 12.04.2023 but the same was rejected on 13.04.2023. The ground of rejection lacks of reason. Accordingly, the order of rejection is set aside.

The respondent No. 2 is directed to provide electric connection in the residential premises of the petitioner standing on survey No. 2317 measuring an area of 180 sq. meter situated at RGT Road, Aberdeen village under Port Blair Tehsil within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order in compliance of all formalities.

WPA No. 653 of 2023 is disposed of.
