Hence the matter is taken up for hearing. The writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the Tehsildar to complete the proceeding already initiated by the Tehsildar in terms of Regulation 98 of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Land Revenue and Land Reforms Regulation, 1966, within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order, upon observing the principles of law and upon hearing the petitioner. The petitioner shall be communicated the fate of the same, by a reasoned order. It appears that a demarcation had been made to the petitioner's land and proceedings had commenced. The private respondent had also participated in the proceeding, but refused to vacate the encroached portion.
