The petitioner has occupied a Government revenue land bearing survey No.100/P measuring an area of about 1400 sq. meter situated at Humfrigunj village under Ferrargunj Tehsil, South Andaman District. The petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection on 22.11.2022. The respondent authority has rejected the application on 22.11.2022 on the ground that the petitioner has not submitted the required documents. Considering the order of rejection, this Court finds that the ground of rejection is not sustainable under law. Accordingly, the same is set aside.

The respondent No.3 is directed to provide electric connection in the premises of the petitioner standing on survey No.100/P at Humfreygunj village under Ferrargunj Tehsil within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order on compliance of all requisite formalities.

WPA No. 656 is disposed of.
