Mr. Arul Prasanth, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the appellant is dead and he has handed over a copy of the death certificate showing the death of the appellant on 21st September 2025. Since then, no steps have been taken for substitution.

Accordingly, the appeal stands abated and shall be treated as disposed of.
