Petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection before the authority on 07.04.2023 in survey No.626, measuring an area of 150 sq. meter situated at Fisherman Colony, near Ganesh Temple, Prem Nagar, Port Blair Tehsil, South Andaman District.

This Court finds that, the Writ application filed by the petitioner is premature. Accordingly, the same is dismissed. However, the dismissal of the Writ application will not debar the petitioner to apply afresh for grant of electric connection before the concerned authority. If any application is made by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to provide electric connection to the premises of the petitioner as per judgment passed by the Hon'ble Special Bench.
