The same is kept with the record.
It is clear from the report that the Coast Guard and the Forest Department had encroached upon the land in question.
After duly ascertaining the extension of land allotted to the Coast Guard and the Forest Department, urgent and immediate steps shall be taken by the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District under the concerned statute to evict persons from the encroached land.
It is expected that aforesaid steps should be taken by the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District within a period of three months from date.
The personal presence of the Deputy Commissioner (SA) is dispensed with.
WPA/596/2022 stands disposed of.
