The petitioner complains of non-demarcation of her land in spite of prayers addressed to the respondent no.2, the Tehsildar, Port Blair as well as payment of fees towards such demarcation. The documents are annexed to the writ petition and marked as Annexure P-3.

Mr. Sivabalan, Learned Counsel appearing for the respondents, submits that steps shall be taken in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the respondent no.2, being the Tehsildar, Port Blair, is directed to consider the prayer of the petitioner

in terms of Annexures P-3 and P-4 to the writ petition within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this Order.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the issue and the respondent no.2 shall act in accordance with law.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner undertakes to file affidavit of service in the course of this day. Since affidavits are not invited, all allegations to the contrary stand denied and disputed.

WPA/598/2022 stands accordingly disposed of. All parties to act in terms of a copy of the order downloaded from the official website of the Court. Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order be supplied to the Learned Counsel for the respective parties upon compliance of usual formalities.
