Kumar ...for the Respondents August 24, 2023 [ M.A.Mobin] Item No.6 The instant Writ Petition has been filed being aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities failing to accord division of the landed properties of the petitioner.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that despite requisite documents along with the application being filed before the authority in the year 2021 which has been erroneously stated as 2022 in the Writ Petition is pending for final disposal. No steps were taken or any date had been fixed to effectuate such division as sought for. The petitioner on 5.4.2023 had filed his representation before the respondent no.1 with a request to dispose of the sub-division matter which however was not heeded to. The learned Advocate for the respondents submits that necessary direction be issued to the respondents to dispose of the application of the petitioner within three months.

Considering the submissions of the learned Advocate for both the parties and the prayer in the Writ Petition the respondent nos.2 and 3 are directed to dispose of the RC Case No.200/GIS/2021 by the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman within a period of three months from the date of this order.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. Parties to act upon the server copy of this order. (Ananya Bandyopadhyay, J.)
