for the respondent September 30, 2024 [SR] Item No. 6 This revisional application is primarily directed against the pendency of a Matrimonial Suit being Mat. Suit. No.138 of 2022 before the Family Court at Port Blair.

It is submitted by both the parties that they are interested in expeditious disposal of the suit. There are allegations and counter allegations in respect of which party is procrastinating the hearing of the suit.

It is also submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the next date of hearing has been fixed on 29 October 2024 and the matter is at the stage of hearing of an application under Order VI Rule 17 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 filed by the opposite party husband.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, CO/36/2024 stands disposed of by directing the Learned Judge, Family Court at Port Blair to dispose of Matrimonial Suit No.138 of 2022 expeditiously along with all connection applications and preferably within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order.

It is made clear that no unnecessary adjournments should be granted to either of the parties.
