Mini ... for the petitioner Mr. Tulsi Lal Mr. Rakesh Kumar ... for the respondent April 26, 2023 [AKB] Item No.6 The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has occupied a government revenue land bearing survey No. 354 measuring an area 1000 Sq. mtrs. situated at Milangram Village, Diglipur Tehsil, North and Middle Andaman and had constructed a dwelling house in the said landed property. The petitioner has applied for grant of electric connection in the said dwelling house on 22nd March, 2023, but till date the authorities have not consider the said application.

Considering the submission made by the counsel for the petitioner and in view of the judgement passed by the Special Court in the case of Abhimanyu Mazumdar vs. The Superintending Engineer and another) reported in AIR 2011 Calcutta 64 the respondent No.2 is directed to provide electric connection to the petitioner in her dwelling house within a period of four weeks from the date of the receipt of the copy of the order upon compliance of all formalities.

WPA/695/2023 is disposed of.
