The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is in occupation of the government revenue land bearing survey No. 1/p measuring an area of 200 Sq. mtrs situated at Bharat Nagar, Garacharma village, under Port Blair Tehsil, South Andaman and had constructed a house in the said landed property and he is residing there along with his family members.

The petitioner submits that the petitioner had applied for grant of domestic water tap connection in the said premises but till date the Municipal Authorities have not considered the representation submitted by the petitioner. Considering the submission made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner the writ petition is disposed of by directing the Secretary, Port Blair Municipal Council the respondent No.2 herein to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.04.2023 and to grant domestic water connection within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order after completion of all formalities.

WPA/696/2023 is disposed of.
