The petitioner is aggrieved by an order dated 11.10.2023 whereby the Administrative Officer of the Port Blair Municipal Council declined re-engaging the petitioner as Daily Rated Mazdoor(DRM). There are large number of reasons assigned in the order.

This Court is of the view that since disputed questions of fact would arise in the process of adjudication of the claim of the petitioner and the answer of the respondents, the petitioner may seek remedies before the authorities under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947.

With liberty reserved to the petitioner as aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of without any order as to costs. 4.
